Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Schedule Leader to support the planning and scheduling activities of a large industrial project. The Schedule Leader will work closely with the Schedule Manager, project controls teams, engineering, construction, procurement, and contractors to ensure accurate schedule development, progress tracking, and performance reporting. This role requires strong technical knowledge of scheduling methodologies, Primavera P6 proficiency, and the ability to analyse complex project data to support informed decision-making. Responsibilities

1. Planning & Schedule Development

• Participate in the development and maintenance of detailed project schedules across engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning.

• Support the creation and refinement of Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), activity coding, and logic sequencing.

• Assist in validating contractor schedules to ensure alignment with project requirements.

• Coordinate schedule interfaces across multiple disciplines and contractors.

2. Progress Measurement & Control

• Monitor and update weekly and monthly progress for all assigned work packages.

• Evaluate schedule performance using Primavera P6, progress curves, and KPI metrics. • Identify variances, delays, and opportunities, and support the preparation of mitigation plans.

• Conduct critical path reviews and scenario analysis to assess schedule impacts.

3. Reporting & Analysis

• Prepare weekly and monthly project progress reports.

• Develop S-curves, including: o Overall project S-curves to track trends. o WBS Level 2 package-specific S-curves for deeper visibility. o Early and late S-curve identification using baselines and forecasts.

• Create and manage Power BI dashboards for real-time schedule and progress updates.

4. Coordination & Leadership

• Support schedule review meetings and cross-discipline coordination.

• Facilitate alignment between engineering, construction, and subcontractors.

• Participate in risk workshops and analyse schedule-related risks.

• Contribute to continuous improvement of planning processes and tools. Soft Skills

• Strong coordination abilities across multidisciplinary project teams.

• Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills. • Capable of facilitating planning discussions and resolving priority conflicts.

• Detail-oriented, methodical, and proactive. Languages • Fluent English (Intermediate–Advanced) for technical communication and reporting. Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in outage planning, turnaround planning, or startup sequencing.

• Background in mechanical trades or maintenance environments (advantageous).

• Knowledge of industry standards, planning best practices, and project controls methodologies.
